About Laura
Laura Zillen has been hooked on storytelling since before she could read. As a child, she invented her own bedtime stories, and became “that kid” who read constantly, even while walking. While writing novels was always a goal, it took a few false starts before An Affinity for Trouble was ready to be born.
When she’s not writing dynamic characters or imagining terrible plot twists for them, Laura works as a dietitian and health IT analyst. She may also be found knitting another scarf, wrangling her two rescue dogs, or cooing at her garden in hopes kind words really do encourage carrots and hot peppers to grow better.
